SSC CGL Exam 2021: Date, Eligibility, Admit Card, Vacancies, Result & Cutoff

This SSC CGL notification 2020-21 was issued on December 29, 2020. SSC CGL Tier-1 is scheduled to be held from May 29 to June 7, 2021. The total number of SSC CGL vacancies is up to 6506.

In this, the candidates who successfully filled the SSC CGL 2021 application will also be issued the SSC admit card for the SSC CGL 2020-21 (Tier-I) examination. SSC CGL Tier-I exam preparation time is very high, although very few days are left.

This SSC CGL is one of the national level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to select candidates for Group-B and -C posts in various Ministries / Departments / Organizations of the Government of India.

Every year, about 30 to 35 lakh candidates fill the SSC CGL application form and about 15 to 18 lakh candidates appear for the examination. All the Staff Selection Commission conducts the examination in four stages called Tiers.

The first two levels of the Combined Graduate Level Examination will be conducted in online mode. The next two levels of this exam will be conducted in offline mode.

SSC CGL 2020-21 Exam Update

With the approval of the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) by the Union Cabinet, NRA CET 2021 (NRA Common Eligibility Test 2021) is going to be conducted by the agency to exchange the tier-I papers of SSC, IBPS, and RRB exam.

SSC CGL 2019 Result Tier II Declared

The SSC CGL 2019 (Tier-II) Answer Key was released on 28 February 2021. The SSC also released the question paper together with the SSC CGL Answer Key. Earlier, the SSC CGL 2019 Tier II Result was declared on 19 February 2021.

The  SSC CGL Tier-II exam was conducted from 5 to 18 November 2020, and therefore the Tier III exam (Descriptive exam) was conducted on 22 November across the state. On the idea of the mark secured within the Tier-I and Tier-II exams, The candidates were selects for the evaluations of the Tier III exams.

Totals of 43,896 candidates were declared qualified under three different lists (for different posts). The marks of the candidates are going to be declared after the Tier III results. the ultimate answer key for Tier-II is going to be released on the official website of SSC on 28 February.

SSC CGL 2018 Exam Update 

The final SSC CGL result 2018 will be out on 31/02/2021. The SSC CGL Tier-III 2018-19 marks were released by Staff Selections Commission on 7 October  2020. The Candidates should have a graduate degree on or before 01 January 2022. The Candidates, who are in the finals years of graduations can also apply for SSC CGL with their provisionals degrees.

(A). Assistants Audit Officer/Assistants Accounts Officers

  1. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor Degrees from a recognized University or Institutes
  2. Desirable Qualifications: The Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters I Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administrations (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics

(B). Junior Statistical Officers

SSC CGL Age Limit 2021

SSC has extended the age limit for SSC CGL recruitment 2020-21, although the age varies by post. The minimum age limit defined for SSC CGL is to be 27 years and the maximum age limit criterion is 32 years.

The process of filling the SSC CGL application form 2021 was closed on 31 January. Step 3: Fill the SSC CGL registration forms.

Step 6: Upload scanned image of photo and signature and other important documents, if applicable.

Step 7: Review the SSC online form carefully and clicks on the Final Submit button.

Step 8: Pay the SSC CGL applications fees of Rs 100 in onlines or offline modes.

SSC CGL 2020- 21 Recruitment Process

SSC CGL recruitment process 2021 includes the following stages/tiers:

SSC CGL application form: First of all, the candidates are required to fill the SSC CGL application form online mode on the official website of the Commission. This SSC CGL application fee is 100 rupees only.
SSC CGL tier-I admits card: All the candidates whose applications have been accepted by the Staff Selection Commission will be able to download their SSC CGL admit card for the Tier-I examination from the official regional websites of the Commission as per the scheduled schedule.
SSC CGL Tier-I Exam: This SSC CGL Tier-I is a computer-based exam that comes with objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 200 marks.
SSC CGL Tier-I Result: This SSC CGL result is declared by the Staff Selection Commission on its official website. The result consists of the names and/or roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the Tier-I examination. Candidates clearing the Tier-I paper are then called for the Tier-II examination.

SSC CGL Tier-II Exam: This SSC CGL Tier-II is a computer-based examination divided into four papers. Each paper also carries 100 MCQs of 200 marks each.

SSC CGL Tier-III exam: The SSC CGL Tier-III is a pen-and-paper-based exam that is descriptive in natures.
SSC CGL Tier-III result: Similar to this Tier-I and -II result, the candidates can check the SSC CGL result for Tier-III in online mode on the official website. Candidates who pass the Tier-III examination get an opportunity to appear for the final stage – Tier-IV.
SSC CGL tier-IV admits card: Like the admit card for other levels, SSC CGL Tier-IV admits card can also be downloaded on the regional websites of the Staff Selection Commission.
SSC CGL Tier-IV exam: In this Tier-IV, computer proficiency test, skill test or document verification is conducted as per the post applied by SSC candidate. This SSC CGL Tier-IV is only a qualifying paper. This means that the marks scored by the candidates in Tier-IV cannot be calculated at the time of declaration of the final result.
Final SSC CGL result: The final SSC CGL result is announced based on the performance of the candidates in this Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III examination. All the eligible candidates are then allotted Group-B and -C posts in various Ministries / Departments / Organizations of the Government of India.
