What is KSET?

This examination is conducted by the Karnataka State Eligibility Test Center, University of Mysore, and the Karnataka State Eligibility Test KSET is conducted every year.

Let me tell you that, after passing this exam, the candidate is held for the list of lectures or the post of Assistant Processor in the state of Karnataka. If you want to take up the job of lecturer or assistant processor in Mysore University / College etc. of Karnataka, then you must qualify for this exam.

Karnataka State Eligibility Criteria 2021

KSET Age Limit:

It is also to be noted that, under the KSET Official Notification PDF, there is no upper age limit to be eligible for this KSET Exam 2021.

KSET Education  Qualification:

As per Karnataka SET eligibility 2021, all candidates must have a master’s degree. Which is equivalent to a UGC recognized university or institute. To get more information about this, read the description given below carefully.

KSET Apply Online 2021

Let me tell you, for the post of Assistant Professor for the state of Karnataka, the candidates had applied for filling the KSET form from 08 February 2021 to 07 March 2021.

To apply KSET is only in online mode. All the candidates will know that after filling the application form, one has to download the form. Which is kept as an e-challan / receipt for your future.

How to Fill KSET 2021 Application Form 

Step 1-First of all, you should visit the official website: http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in/.

Step 2-Now, you have to sign up for registration using your valid email id and password.

Step 3- After that, after registration, Login using the same credentials, and fill the detailed application form with personal, educational, and KSET exam details.

Step 4-Then, applicants are required to mention their educational qualification and PG course passed or appearing.

Step 5-Now, prepare the following documents for you to upload

  • Candidate photo: JPEG format, size: must be from 10 kb to 100 kb
  • Signature of the candidate: JPEG format, size: should be from 5 kb to 30kb

Step 6-Now, for payment, one has to select the payment category (reservation category) and verify the details and amount to be paid.

Step 7-Then, you can make payments using internet banking, debit card, credit card, state bank big e-wallet payment, and cash through State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System).

Step 8-Candidates can make cash payment at all SBI branches across India

KSET Exam Pattern 2021

This KSET exam question paper pattern is conducted offline (pen-and-paper test). All the questions will be objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format, and all the candidates have to answer on the OMR sheet provided with the question book. You have to do a good exam.

Note- There is no negative marking on the wrong answer.

KSET 2021- Admit Card

To download the admit card, you are available on the official website of KSET. The admit card of KSET 2021 was scheduled to be available in April. But due to Kovid, the exam has been postponed.

So now the admit card will be available 2 weeks before the exam. Candidates are not allowed to sit in the examination hall without an admit card.

How to Download the KSET 2021- Admit Card?

All the candidates should follow these steps to download the KSET 2021 Admit Card.

Step 1-First go to the official website of KSET
Step 2-Now, on the homepage of the website, click on the KSET Admit Card link.
Step 3-Then, you enter the application number and log in.
Step 4-After that, you will be displayed on the KSET Admit Card screen.
Step 5-Now, you can download the admit card.

Candidates will inevitably have to carry the admit card along with photo identity proof in the examination hall.

Documents and Exam guidelines

Documents required: All candidates with a printout of KSET 2021 Admit Card with a valid photo identity proof at the examination center. Photo ID, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, etc.

Examination Guidelines: As per the instructions mentioned on this KSET 2021 Admit Card, all the candidates should be located at the exam center at 9 am for the first KSET session and 1 pm for the second KSET session.

After 10 am for the first session of KSET and after 2 pm for the second session, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall/room. All candidates should take care of time,

KSET 2021 -Selection Process

As per the KSET Selection Procedure 2021, tell me that the number of applicants to become qualified Assistant Professor is 6% of the total candidates in both letters of KSET 2021. The selection process for KSET 2021 means that all the candidates who are selected as Assistant Professors are given. You can see below:

  • You can see here that the required total minimum total marks (of both Papers I and Paper II) are 40% for the general category and 35% for the reserved category. (Reserved category – SC / ST / CAT-I / II A / II B / III A / III B / PWD).
  • Let me tell you, subject wise and category wise merit list is prepared for the candidates who get minimum marks.
  • After the merit list, the number of slots is declared subject-wise and category-wise as per the reservation policy.

KSET 2021 – Cut Off Marks

Let me tell you what the cut-off means. This means that the passing percentage is applicable in any exam. As there is a paper of 100 numbers and out of that, the candidate has to get 45 numbers from work. If less than 45 numbers are not qualified.

After the cut-off exam is released on the official website. This allowed the candidates to get a rough idea of ​​their scores. You can see the cut-off of 2018 right now. The result of KSET 2021 is declared by the University of Mysore in 2021, a few months after the exam. All the candidates can view or download their results through the official website.

Answer Key 2021

Let me tell you, the KSET 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted by the University of Mysore in the first week of June 2021. But due to Kovid-19, the examination has been postponed. The KSET 2021 exam may only answer the June answer. Let me tell you, the answer key is released a few days after the exam.

This KSET 2021 General Paper and other 41 topics Answer Key has been uploaded on the official website. If any candidate is not satisfied with this KSET 2021 answer key, then challenge by submitting an application form by paying INR 1000 per question. This is refundable in case of objection filed.

How to Download KSET 2021 -Answer Key

  • First, you have to click on the official website of KSET – kset.uni-Mysore.ac.in.
  • Now, on the homepage of the website, you have to click on “Study Info” and then choose “Question Paper and Answer Key”.
  • Now, a new page will be open, in which general paper and 41 other subject paper answer keys are available. Click on the paper and a PDF file will be opened showing the answer key for all the series.
  • Candidates can take a printout of the answer key and is able to calculate their marks by comparing both papers.
